Kanpur: A blood donation camp was organised jointly by Red Cross Society and regional sports department Kanpur at Green park stadium on Thursday.DM Mahendra Singh Tanwar said 33 persons voluntarily donated blood during the camp. He honored the blood donors with certificates of appreciation. “A single unit of blood could save multiple lives. Anyone might require blood during emergencies, serious illnesses, or medical treatment. In such a situation, voluntary blood donation could prove to be life-saving for patients in need,” he said.He appealed to people to come forward for voluntary blood donation.
