The BJP will launch a month-long ‘Seva Sankalp‘ campaign on September 17 to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday and highlight his 25 years in public life, party president Nitin Nabin said on Wednesday.

Addressing a press conference at the BJP headquarters, Nabin said Modi’s birthday would be observed as ‘Seva Diwas’, with programmes planned across the country from September 17 to October 17.

The campaign will showcase Modi’s political journey and what the BJP described as his “service and dedication”, while highlighting government development and welfare initiatives aimed at reaching the last person, Nabin said.

“The BJP will take the message of Modi’s public service to every person,” he said.

According to Nabin, the campaign will focus on changes in people’s lives during Modi’s 25 years in public life. He said the prime minister had given hope to the country’s youth and shifted the focus towards women-led development.
Highlighting the government’s welfare programmes, Nabin claimed that 25 crore families had been brought out of poverty.Also Read: PM birthday special: The who’s who of India share their Modi stories

“Modi transformed India from ‘fragile five’ to a fast-growing economy. India’s global stature and respect have risen under Modi,” he said.

The BJP’s campaign will run for a month, beginning on Modi’s birthday on September 17 and concluding on October 17.
