Bathinda: Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini visited Punjab’s Faridkot district on Sunday, where he attacked the AAP govt over several issues. “The AAP had gained power by making claims to eliminate drugs, but after gaining power, the party forgot its promise,” he said. While addressing a meeting organised at Sadiq village near Faridkot, Nayab Saini, accompanied by Rajya Sabha member Satnam Singh Sandhu, said that upon gaining power in Punjab, the issues of de-notified tribe (DNT) will also be addressed. At another event in Faridkot, prominent eye surgeon Dr Sanjiv Goyal joined the BJP. “People want to ensure a double engine government in Punjab, as they see a ray of hope in the BJP,” the Haryana CM said. Saini said Punjab and Haryana govt had assured to purchase various crops on minimum support price. “Haryana is purchasing various crops on MSP, but AAP govt failed to keep its word,” he said. “When we form our govt here (in Punjab), we assure that we will procure all crops from farmers at MSP,” Saini added.MSID: 132806078 413 |
