Thiruvananthapuram: A 34-year-old biker died after being run over by a tipper lorry driven by his friend at Chullalam near Panavoor on Monday morning. Arun, a Kallara resident, was riding towards Vengamala quarry, where he and the tipper driver worked as drivers. Around 6.30am, Arun reportedly waved to his friend driving the tipper, causing his motorcycle to lose balance and skid under the moving vehicle. He sustained fatal head and leg injuries and died on the spot. Venjaramoodu police registered an unnatural death case and are investigating the accident.
