Bengaluru: Anil Gowda, 24, died after his bike crashed into a truck carrying a pumping machine on its trolley on Ballari Road elevated expressway in Byatarayanapura around 6.15am Monday. Gowda, who was allegedly speeding, failed to notice the Eicher truck and crashed into the trolley from the rear. He was severely injured and died on the spot. In another accident, auto driver Rajesh, 40, died after his vehicle overturned while trying to avoid colliding with a two-wheeler. His friend Devaraju, 45, sustained injuries.Traffic police said when the two-wheeler suddenly came in front of the auto, Rajesh applied sudden brakes but lost control causing the vehicle to overturn. Both Rajesh and Devaraju were thrown onto the road. Rajesh sustained severe head injuries and succumbed at a nearby hospital.
