Lucknow: A Bhojpuri actress lon Saturday lodged a complaint with the Lucknow Cyber Crime Police Station, alleging that AI-generated obscene images of her and her 11-year-old daughter were circulated on social media as part of a targeted online harassment campaign.She also accused several individuals of sending abusive messages and death threats and sought strict legal action against those involved.According to the complaint, the controversy erupted after the actress shared her views about a fellow Bhojpuri actor during a recent podcast. She claimed that, shortly after the interview, a coordinated social media campaign was launched against her.The actress alleged that AI-generated obscene images, objectionable posts and abusive content featuring her and her minor daughter were widely shared online, causing severe mental distress and reputational harm.

She accused the actor’s associates and several social media users of participating in the campaign and identified multiple fan pages and accounts that allegedly amplified the content.She requested investigators to issue notices to social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, seeking the preservation of crucial evidence such as IP addresses, login records, device details and server logs.Cyber Crime Police officials confirmed receipt of the complaint and said that the digital evidence submitted by the actress was being examined. Further action will be taken after verification of the material and completion of the preliminary inquiry.
