East Midnapore: Bengal chief electoral officer Manoj Agarwal arrived in East Midnapore on Saturday for a crucial two-day administrative review. After reaching Nimtouri in Tamluk, Agarwal chaired a marathon meeting with senior officials, which included IG (Western Range) Vishal Garg, district magistrate Niranjan Kumar and SP Anshuman Saha, alongside ADGs, DIGs and central paramilitary force commanders. The primary agenda of the talks was the reinforcement of a “water-tight security blanket” across all polling stations in the district.
