Kulgam, Sep 26 (KNO): A 45-year-old man was injured after being attacked by a bear in the Chimmer area of Kulgam district on Saturday afternoon.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the man was attacked by a bear in Chimmer area of Kulgam.
He said the man was shifted to a hospital soon after the incident and was later identified as Mohammad Rasheed Khatana (45), son of Mohammad Ismail Khatana, a resident of Chimmer.
Meanwhile, details regarding the incident are being verified, while locals have urged the administration to look into the matter and take measures to prevent further attacks.—(KNO)
