Mumbai: Baramati bus stand in Pune division, which has put into practice the concepts of cleanliness, discipline and tidiness, has secured first rank among ‘A’ category bus stands in the state and has won a prize of Rs 1 crore under the ‘Hinduhridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Swachh, Sundar Bus Stand Abhiyan’.Tiroda bus stand of Bhandara division topped in the ‘B’ category in the state, while in the ‘C’ category, Akole bus stand of Ahilyanagar division secured first position.In all, 54 bus stands across the state which excelled in this campaign are to be awarded prizes totalling Rs 3 crore. The prize distribution ceremony will be in Mumbai on June 1, on the occasion of the ST Corporation’s 78th foundation day.
