Hyderabad: An Ayurvedic doctor approached the cybercrime police, alleging that fraudsters operating two loan apps extorted over Rs 36 lakh from him by threatening to circulate his morphed obscene photographs on social media. Police registered a case and launched a probe to nab the accused. The 46-year-old complainant from Sanath Nagar stated that he downloaded two loan apps, `L*** Ra***’ and `Q**** F***s’, from the Play Store in Aug 2025.
