Nagpur: A woman was killed and her husband left injured after a truck rammed into the two-wheeler they were riding. The accident happened in Ingole Nagar in Hudkeshwar on Wednesday.Yashwant Shende (69) and his wife, Asha (58), residents of Gadgebaba Nagar, Nandanvan, were riding a scooter when it was hit by a truck.Asha succumbed to her injuries at a private hospital, while Yashwant is under treatment. Their son, Shashank (35), lodged a complaint, leading to an FIR against the truck driver under IPC Sections 106(1), 281, and 125(A) at Hudkeshwar police station. Thiruvananthapuram: Kollam vigilance court on Thursday granted bail to former thiruvabharanam commissioner K S Baiju in the Sabarimala gold heist case. The court provided natural bail following a petition filed after a 90-day remand period.
