Kullu: As many as 71 samples of drugs manufactured in Himachal Pradesh were found to be of ‘not standard quality’ in the latest drug alert issued by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO).According to the CDSCO alert for Jan, a total of 215 samples from India were found to be of sub-standard quality, of which 71, or 33.02%, were manufactured in Himachal Pradesh. Lucknow: A 79-year-old patient with advanced cancer of the ureter and urinary bladder was successfully treated through robotic surgery at Chandan Hospital on Tuesday. The surgery was completed through a minimally invasive robotic approach with minimal blood loss and stable recovery parameters, the hospital said. Tumors from the kidney, ureter, urinary bladder, and prostate were removed, ensuring complete tumour clearance. Patna: State health minister Mangal Pandey on Tuesday told the Bihar legislative council that a blood bank facility will be set up at Lok Nayak Jaiprakash Narayan Hospital (LNJP) in Rajbanshi Nagar within the next six months.Replying to a short-notice question by RJD MLC Kartik Kumar, Pandey said the department would complete the required process for establishing the blood bank within the stipulated period. Hazaribag: The Hazaribag police, in a major breakthrough, recovered 23 stolen motorcycles from various parts of the Napokala village under Barkagaon Police Station, police said on Tuesday.
