Kalyan: MIDC has begun issuing show-cause notices to allottees of 134 industrial plots found to be non-operational in Ambernath, Kalyan, Bhiwandi and Murbad talukas in Thane-II region. “In cases where responses are unsatisfactory or production is not commenced within the extended timeline, MIDC will proceed to resume possession of the plots as per regulations,” said Nitin Chavan, deputy collector and regional officer, MIDC, Thane-II. New Delhi: A 58-year-old security guard’s charred body was recovered after a fire allegedly broke out in his room at an MCD primary school in Chanchal Park, in outer Delhi’s Ranhola area, on Tuesday morning. Bhubaneswar: Evaluation of answer sheets for the Class X High School Certificate (HSC), Madhyama and State Open School Certificate (SOSC) examinations is likely to begin from March 19.Officials of the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) said the evaluation will continue until April 2, and the modalities are being worked out. Every year, 50 centres are designated as evaluation centres, and close to 12,000 teachers are deployed for the purpose.This year, 5,61,997 students registered to appear for the matric examination, which is being conducted across 3,082 examination centres in the state.
