Ahmedabad: With Asiatic lions increasingly being spotted on Shatrunjaya hill in Palitana, Gujarat forest department is planning to launch round-the-clock drone surveillance to safeguard Jain pilgrims.Forest minister Arjun Modhwadia suggested that pilgrims venture out only between dawn and dusk for their safety.The department plans to set up four pre-fabricated watchtowers and four cabins to monitor the movements of lions. PG classes being held at a university Bhubaneswar: As many as 9,034 students have been selected for admission to postgraduate courses in 135 higher education institutions across the state in the second and final round of Phase-I admissions for the 2026-27 academic session.The second-round merit list was published by the higher education department on Tuesday.
