Mumbai: Nearly 87% of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority’s Rs 48,072.5 crore budget for 2026-27 will be spent on infrastructure works, with Rs 4,000 crore earmarked for the new Karnala–Sai–Chirner town under the Mumbai 3.0 expansion plan.
