Haveri: Valuable items worth about Rs 24 lakh were stolen from a moving truck on Thursday night, on the Bengaluru-Pune national highway between Haveri and Ranebennur. The looted goods included mobile phones and dry fruits belonging to a private online marketing company. The truck was owned by Mallikjaan Mulla, who was transporting the company’s goods from Bengaluru to Dharwad. Robbers broke the Linkit device installed on the truck to do away with the stolen goods. Kanpur: Jan Chaupals were organised in 10 villages across Kanpur Nagar district on Friday to address complaints received through IGRS. Around 40 of 62 complaints were resolved on the spot, said the officials.
