Kanpur: Kanpur court on Tuesday convicted one Ram Naresh Passi under the Pocso Act and sentenced him to life imprisonment, and imposed a fine of Rs 53,000 for threatening and sexually harassing a minor girl.Special Judge Pocso Act/Additional Sessions Judge, Kanpur Nagar, Raghubir Singh, observed in his order that if the accused fails to pay the fine, then he has to suffer another three-year term in jail.
