Udupi: Police Friday arrested another accused in the Aug 7 murder of entrepreneur David D’Souza, owner of Prince Enterprises, who was shot dead at Mudarangadi.The arrested accused is Lokesh Teja Kothari, 42, a resident of Balihitlu in Yadtare village of Byndoor taluk. According to police, Kothari previously worked in Mumbai, where he became acquainted and friends with co-accused Kishore Rama Poojary.Police said Kothari was involved in the crime by providing a motorcycle to the accused directly involved in the murder, Anmol Rastogi and Raju. Patna: While upholding the constitutional rights and dignity of disabled people, the Patna high court has passed a significant verdict allowing a pensioner to nominate his or her disabled offspring to receive pensionary benefits as a dependent during the parent’s lifetime. Jaipur: State Election Commission (SEC) Friday directed Rajasthan govt to implement all transfer and posting orders issued before the announcement of elections to 309 urban local bodies by Aug 24. In addition, it allowed postings of recruits whose appointment orders had been issued before the poll schedule was announced.SEC further said that candidates selected in various govt recruitments for which appointment orders had already been issued before the announcement of the elections can be given postings against vacant posts.
