TIRUPUR: Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption sleuths on Friday arrested the secretary of the Anna Co-operative House Building Society Limited and two private individuals for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 45,000 from a man.The arrested have been identified as society secretary Jothimani and intermediaries Thirunavukkarasu and Dhaksin.Loganathan from Gandhi Nagar had applied for a Rs 22 lakh housing loan with the cooperative society. The loan was sanctioned on Aug 11. However, to process and disburse the funds, Jothimani and the two others demanded a 3% commission totalling Rs 66,000.
