The US Food and Drug Administration has approved a treatment for pancreatic cancer that, in clinical trials, nearly doubled the overall survival time for patients. New Delhi: Police have registered an FIR in connection with the alleged fake documents of a juvenile who was involved in the murder of a 17-year-old boy in an eatery in southeast Delhi’s Amar Colony in May.According to the FIR, accessed by TOI, the boy has two birth certificates. Hyderabad: Despite recruiting more than 10,000 nursing officers over the past two-and-a-half years, Telangana continues to face a major shortage of nurses, with its nursing workforce remaining 47% below the World Health Organisation (WHO) benchmark, according to data tabled in the Rajya Sabha by Union health minister JP Nadda.The data shows Telangana has 60,919 registered nurses and registered midwives (RN&RM). Ahmedabad: The offline admission round for seats in Gujarat’s govt degree engineering colleges ended on Tuesday, with 948 students being allotted seats. Of these, 484 were fresh admissions, while around 165 students secured transfers from other colleges. Despite the exercise, 190 seats remain vacant.Admissions for degree engineering had officially been declared complete after five regular rounds.
