Pune: Unidentified persons stole Rs 65,000 from the office of a mess secretary located on the premises of a defence establishment in Wanowrie in the early hours of Thursday.An officer from the mess later lodged a complaint with the Wanowrie police.An officer from Wanowrie police said, “The complainant said the cash had been kept in a cupboard at the secretary’s office for expenses related to the mess. Nagpur: National Bureau of Soil Survey and Land Use Planning (NBSS&LUP), headquartered in Nagpur and functioning under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), has developed India’s first soil texture map, providing detailed information on the characteristics of soil across every hectare of the country.The map, released on July 16, comes a year after the bureau developed India’s first soil depth map.
