Patna: Over 36 lakh applications for certificates and other citizen services submitted through Bihar’s panchayats were disposed of in the past two years, with the RTPS portal achieving a disposal rate of about 97%, the panchayati raj department said on Thursday.The RTPS portal offers 64 public services, including issuance of caste, income, residential, birth and death certificates, among others. Citizens can track the status of their applications online and download certificates using the login number generated at the time of submission.According to the department, 37.87 lakh applications were uploaded through panchayats during the past two years, of which 36.91 lakh…
