Kolkata: The ED on Friday filed its second supplementary charge sheet against Sona Pappu in the land grab and money laundering case it is probing, accusing him of embezzling around Rs 38 crore.In the nearly 100-page charge sheet, the agency has listed around 200 witnesses. Srinagar, Jul 17: Kashmir continued to remain in the grip of an intense heatwave on Friday with Srinagar recording a maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius, nearly five degrees above normal and the third highest day-time temperatures in July.On June 30, Srinagar recorded 35.2 degrees Celsius just a day after the district logged 35.3 degrees Celsius in day temperatures. As per the official data, the temperature is also the third-highest July maximum recorded in Srinagar since 2016, behind 37.4°C on July 6, 2025, and 36.2°C on July 29, 2024. Several other stations also recorded temperatures significantly above normal.
