Silchar: Assam Rifles and Sribhumi police seized 14,000 suspected yaba tablets valued at Rs 2.5 crore and arrested five people at Badarpur on Thursday.Acting on specific intelligence, a joint team intercepted two cars allegedly being used to transport the contraband at Badarpur in Sribhumi district.The tablets weighed around 1.4 kg. Five mobile phones were also recovered.The identities of those arrested were not disclosed.
