Prayagraj: Police on Monday launched an investigation following a complaint from Air Force authorities about drone-like objects being spotted near the airport in Bamrauli.According to the complaint, an unidentified drone was flown without authorisation in the restricted area near Air Force Station, a designated no-drone zone where prior permission is mandatory for operating any drone.A jawan stationed at a watchtower noticed the drone inside the airfield premises twice on Sept 5. Applicants have sought nominations from the corporation’s 42 wards.
