Lucknow: Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University (KMCLU) will introduce a one-year postgraduate diploma in Archives and Records Management from the 2026-27 academic session.The job-oriented course is in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and offers 30 seats. It will commence in Aug 2026 and aims to equip students with professional skills in archival and records management.Dean, faculty of social sciences, Poonam Chaudhary said the programme has been designed to meet the growing demand for trained professionals in scientific record management across govt and private organisations. Patna: An 11-year-old boy was hit by a school van and dragged for around 1.5 km in Gopalganj district on Wednesday. The incident took place between Yadavpur Mor and Banjari Mor under Town police station area. The boy is undergoing treatment and is in a stable condition, police said.According to eyewitnesses, the boy was trapped beneath the van and dragged along the road. Passers-by raised an alarm and tried to stop the vehicle. Seeing a crowd gather, the driver abandoned the van and fled the spot. Jaipur: A senior teacher posted at Govt Senior Secondary School in Bamanwas in Sawai Madhopur district was suspended following complaints against her Wednesday. Another vocational education instructor posted at the same school was also relieved of her duties and shifted to the service provider company pending further action.The school education department said the action was initiated against the teacher based on a report submitted by the district education officer, Sawai Madhopur.Considering the seriousness of the allegations, the education department placed the senior teacher under suspension with immediate effect. Chief Minister VD Satheesan Thiruvananthapuram: An expert committee has found that the interim report submitted by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for a high-speed rail project was incomplete, lacking crucial studies on financial viability, passenger demand and environmental and social impact, chief minister V D Satheesan said on Wednesday.
