Kanpur: A 65-year-old woman was injured when the dilapidated mud house she lived in collapsed following heavy rain in Narval tehsil of Kanpur late Saturday.The injured woman was identified as Shashi Mishra. According to villagers, she was alone in the house when it collapsed.Hearing her cries for help, residents rushed to the spot, removed the debris and rescued her. Pune: Commuters have alleged that several autorickshaw drivers in the city are already charging fares according to the revised tariff, even though the new rates will come into effect on Sept 1.The Regional Transport Authority has approved the revised fare structure wherein passengers will be charged Rs30 for the first 1.5km and Rs20 for every subsequent kilometre.
