Guwahati: The Centre on Monday deferred the census operations in Manipur following demands from civil society organisations to revise the National Register of Citizens (NRC) before conducting the exercise.The decision came after Union home minister Amit Shah chaired a high-level review meeting in New Delhi to assess the current situation in Manipur. Mumbai: A leak was detected from a tanker carrying approximately 35,000 litres of benzene near Mysore Colony Monorail station in Chembur on Monday night, causing panic in the area.
