NAMAKKAL: A Class III girl died on Monday after she fainted and fell ill while taking part in rehearsals for a cultural programme at a school in Namakkal district on Sunday.The deceased has been identified as nine-year-old Rakshita, daughter of Matheswaran and Dhanalakshmi of Kavundampalayam.The Kumaramangalam Panchayat Union, which was established in 1926, was to hold its centenary celebrations on Monday.
