Varanasi: Officers of UPSTF’s Varanasi field unit and forest department on Saturday busted an interstate gang involved in cheating people by framing them in cases of poaching parts of wildlife species.Three of the gang were arrested in a joint raid of STF and forest officials at Swastik Home Stay in Faridpur under Sarnath police station. T’puram: A Neyyattinkara fast-track special Pocso court has sentenced a 44-year-old man to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment for sexually assaulting a girl inside his car after luring her on the pretext of dropping her at school.The court, presided over by Judge K M Suja, convicted Kunjumon, of Chovvara in Kovalam, in connection with the 2015 incident.
