Malda: A schoolteacher was shot dead by two men on a motorcycle in North Dinajpur’s Islampur on Saturday morning. The 55-year-old Najrul Islam, headmaster of Ramgunj Rajavim Primary School and a neta of the TMC teachers’ cell, was on his way to work on his bike when he was attacked on National Highway 3.Islam was first taken to Islampur Hospital and then referred to North Bengal Medical College & Hospital.
