Mohali: An analysis of road accident data from 2022 to 2024 by the Punjab Road Safety and Traffic Research Centre (PRSTRC) has identified Derabassi and Kharar as the most fatal zones in Mohali district. Over the three-year period, Derabassi recorded 97 deaths, followed by Kharar with 72 fatalities.Airport Road also emerged as a high-risk stretch, reporting 52 fatalities across various black spots, including 15 deaths under the Phase-1 police station alone.The study identified 93 accident black spots across Mohali.
