Patna: The state govt is planning to upgrade all single-lane roads in Bihar, from cities to villages, into two-lane roads. Replying to the road construction department (RCD) budget in the state legislative assembly on Tuesday, minister Dilip Jaiswal also announced the construction of a high-speed corridor from Pashupatinath in Nepal to Baba Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar, Jharkhand.The project will include a four-lane highway spanning around 250km in Bihar. Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma Monday said Rajasthan govt has expanded the reach of social security pension schemes, with more than 91 lakh beneficiaries currently receiving assistance across the state, according to official data.The schemes cover senior citizens, single women, persons with disabilities, and small and marginal farmers. “Our objective is that no eligible person should be deprived of social security pensions. Nagpur: Nagpur Metro will now run along the Inner Ring Road from Mankapur Chowk to Rachana junction (Hingna T-point), a stretch of 25km, as part of Metro Phase 3.
