Kolkata: A Bengal Police STF team conducted raids at Jalangi, Domkal and Shamsherganj in Murshidabad district on Wednesday night, arresting two men for allegedly running an illegal weapons racket.The arrested were Md Samsad Ali (alias Kalu) of Jalangi, and Rajesh Sk of Domkal.Police suspect the duo smuggled weapons from Bihar for distribution elsewhere. During the operation, the STF seized two 7.65mm firearms, four magazines, and six rounds of live ammunition. A case was registered at the STF West Bengal Headquarters PS against both the accused.
