Srinagar, August 10: The Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party has appointed former MLA Haji Mohammad Syed Akhoon as its State Vice President with immediate effect.
The appointment was announced by Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari through an order issued by the party on Monday.
According to the order, the appointment of Akhoon was approved by the party president and will take effect immediately.
The order was issued by Apni Party General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir from the party’s Srinagar office.
Akhoon, a former legislator, will now serve in the senior organisational position as the party continues to strengthen its leadership structure across Jammu and Kashmir.
