Tarun Tahiliani drew inspiration from Indian art and design, including the Tree of Life, Lipan Art, paisleys and the Art of Light.
These influences showed up in the embroidery and surface detailing, with techniques such as Aari work, Zardozi and mirror work adding texture to the outfits.
There’s a lot that goes into making traditional menswear stand out, and often, it’s the smaller details that make an outfit memorable. The embroidery, the placement of a motif or the way a jacket is cut can change the entire look.

The result was a collection that drew from India’s rich design traditions without making every outfit feel overly formal or heavy.(PTI Photo/Rushikesh More)(PTI10_16_2026_000071B)
