Jaipur: Team Vimal Arion Achievers launched their campaign in the Raffles Sirmour Cup (14-goal) in style by cruising past Team Carysil Suhana 10-7 at the Rajasthan Polo Club Ground here on Wednesday.Fresh from their triumph at the Leela Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Polo Cup on Sunday, Vimal Arion Achievers team continued their brilliant run to dominate their rivals in the second match of the Sirmour Cup.
Alejo Aramburu emerged as the chief architect with 4 goals. He was well supported by Dhruvpal Godara (3 goals), Daniel Otamendi (2 goals) and Salim Azmi (1 goal).On the other hand, Manuel Prado and Matias Vial fought hard for Team Carysil Suhana by slamming three goals apiece. Ashok Chandna chipped in with a goal. Kuldeep Singh Rathore was the other member of the losing side.According to the organisers, the tourney will resume on Friday after Thursday’s rest day.
