Times News Network | SanjayRanchi: The All India Student Association (AISA) and the Revolutionary Youth Association on Wednesday called for road blockades across the state to protest against the clustering of colleges in state universities, the NEET paper leak and the alleged irregularities in the CBSE’s on-screen marking system for the recently concluded board exams.Addressing media at the CPI-ML office, AISA state secretary, Trilokinath, alleged that the recent resolution of the state govt related to clustering and restructuring of the state universities would lead to privatisation of education. He alleged that there would be a massive cut in teaching and non-teaching staff in universities and colleges and the number of seats in educational institutions would also decrease.Trilokinath further claimed that the policy would adversely impact students from the deprived sections of society and females and their dropout would increase.AISA district president Vijay Kumar claimed that promotion of vocational and self-finance courses in place of regular ones would increase the financial burden on students. Ranchi district secretary Sanjana Mehta said that the NEET question paper leaks have increased the mental, financial and social pressure on aspirants and their parents.
