Srinagar, Aug 24: All India Kashmiri Samaj strongly condemns the fresh threat letter targeting members of the Kashmiri Pandit community, which is being circulated on social media today.
We are deeply concerned about this attempt to intimidate and create fear among the community. Such threats are not only aimed at Kashmiri Pandits but at the very idea of peace and co-existence in Jammu & Kashmir.
We urge the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, J&K Administration and J&K Police to take immediate cognizance of this threat, investigate its source, and ensure adequate security measures for all vulnerable KP employees and families residing in Jammu Kashmir.
We urge all sections of civil society and local mainstream political parties to condemn such threats unequivocally.
The Government must ensure that such anti-social elements are dealt with strictly.
