Bhubaneswar: Professor of anatomy, Dr Prabhas Ranjan Tripathy was appointed the new medical superintendent of AIIMS Bhubaneswar on Monday, while his predecessor, radiation oncologist Dr Dillip Kumar Parida, became the dean (academic). After joining AIIMS Bhubaneswar as a founding faculty member and head of the department of radiation oncology in 2013, Dr Parida remained the medical superintendent during 2016-2017 and 2022-2026 periods.Community and family medicine additional professor, Dr Arvind Kumar Singh, became the associate dean (academic).Professor and head of the microbiology department, Dr Baijayantimala Mishra, was appointed the dean (research), while Dr Gaurav Chhabra, additional professor, department of pathology and lab medicine, became associate dean (research).Dr Manaswini Mangaraj, professor and head of the biochemistry department, was appointed dean (exam), while Dr Bikasha Bihary Tripathy of the department of paediatric surgery, became associate dean (exam) post.
