Chennai: A man, identified as Mohammad Rizwan Ali, against whom the city police had issued a lookout notice in connection with the BSP leader K Armstrong murder case, was detained at Chennai airport by immigration officials when he arrived from Malaysia on Friday.A senior police officer said Rizwan Ali was not involved in the Armstrong murder case, but facilitated an accused, ‘Sambhavam’ Senthil, in obtaining a passport, visa, and other documents to facilitate his travel abroad. Police said Rizwan Ali will be taken into police custody for further investigation.Senthil is classified as an A+ history-sheeter at Tondiarpet police station in Washermenpet district, a category used for offenders involved in multiple murder cases. Senthil was named second accused in the Armstrong murder case.
