Ahmedabad: Rajpath Club on Wednesday announced plans to develop its third campus on 186 acres (around 300 bighas) near Varna village, close to Vataman Chowkdi along the Ahmedabad-Dholera corridor. The proposed site will be developed in phases and is expected to include a large green zone, or an oxygen park, along with wellness and community services.Club officials said the acquisition is part of a long-term expansion strategy aimed at meeting growing member demand. Detailed master plans for the project will be announced in phases, club sources said.Rajpath Club will now have three locations — its existing club on SG Highway, Rajpath Club Resort at Vayna village in Kalol taluka, and the newly announced facility near Varna.According to club sources, the Vayna resort is expected to start operations in the next eight months. It features an Olympic-sized swimming pool and other sports facilities.The club has also expanded several member facilities over the past few years in response to increased participation in sports, fitness and leisure activities. It has doubled the number of tennis courts from two to four and added a second swimming pool with a heating system, enabling year-round use.Indoor sports infrastructure has also expanded, with six table tennis tables, five badminton courts, a football facility, and dedicated spaces for chess, carrom and bridge. A new pickleball facility has also been introduced. Entry systems have been upgraded to include fingerprint recognition and facial recognition alongside smart cards.
