Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB), Gandhinagar, has extended the last date for online application and fee submission for the Class 12 supplementary examination 2026. The deadline, earlier set as May 14, has now been pushed by two days to May 16.The supplementary exams are open to students from General, Vocational, Higher Secondary (UU stream), Sanskrit medium, and Science streams who were absent in one or more subjects or failed (marked as “Needs Improvement”) in the Feb-March examinations. Besides, students who have passed but want to improve their performance are also eligible to apply.Schools must complete the application and fee payment process strictly through online mode via the official websites. Applications submitted in person or through post will not be considered.Special provisions have been made for female and differently-abled candidates, who are exempted from paying examination fees. However, it is compulsory for schools to register such candidates online by marking their seat numbers; failing to do so will render them ineligible to appear for the exam.The board has issued detailed instructions regarding the application and fee process on its official websites to ensure smooth registration for all eligible candidates.
