Total reported revenue rose 33% to Rs 19,322 crore from Rs 14,574 crore during the year-ago period

Ahmedabad: Adani Power Ltd (APL), the power arm of diversified conglomerate Adani Group, reported a 47% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 4,866.6 crore on Wednesday for the June quarter, compared with Rs 3,305 crore in the year-ago period.Total reported revenue rose 33% to Rs 19,322 crore from Rs 14,574 crore during the year-ago period. Reported EBITDA increased 36% to Rs 8,369 crore.On a continuing basis, total revenue grew 27% to Rs 17,936 crore. EBITDA rose 22% to Rs 6,983 crore. The company recognised Rs 1,386 crore of prior-period income during the quarter.Power sales increased 17% to 28.8 billion units from 24.6 billion units a year ago. Power generation touched 31 billion units. Plant load factor improved to 77.9% from 67%.The company’s installed capacity stood at 18,330 MW at the end of the quarter.During the quarter, APL acquired a 180 MW thermal power plant at Churk. It also acquired a 24% stake in Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd and an 11.49% stake in Prayagraj Power Generation Company Ltd.
