Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) on Thursday said it has implemented the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT)-approved resolution plan for Jaiprakash Associates Limited.
“This is to inform you that the Approved Resolution Plan has been implemented today (i.e., on May 21, 2026) by certain Implementing Agencies,” Adani Enterprises said in its exchange filing.
In a regulatory filing, AEL said the resolution plan, which had been approved by the National Company Law Tribunal Allahabad Bench through an order dated March 17, 2026, was implemented on May 21, 2026, by certain identified implementing agencies.
The approved resolution plan, originally submitted by Adani Enterprises on October 14, 2025, along with subsequent clarifications in November 2025, envisages the acquisition of Jaiprakash Associates, which has been undergoing corporate insolvency resolution proceedings under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), 2016.
AEL had earlier informed stock exchanges on March 19, 2026, about the receipt of the written NCLT order approving the plan. The company clarified that the plan allows implementation through one or more designated entities, enabling operational flexibility in executing the acquisition.
