The latest development comes after a prominent influencer who was stopped at Rathtala Crossing, with the Dunlop Traffic Guard trying to requisition his private vehicle on Tuesday for poll duty. Actor-cum-influencer Aritra Dutta Banik was heading to Garia from Sodepur for a shooting. He said, “I was out with my personal car. Since I didn’t violate any rule, I first asked why I was being stopped. They informed me that they wanted to use my car for poll purposes. They even forcibly parked my car and handed me a requisition slip.” Banik then got into an argument with the police. However, after presenting legal arguments, the traffic guard ultimately couldn’t take the his car.
