Mysuru: City police, investigating an NDPS case registered at Mandi police station after the arrest of two accused, have arrested Mohammed Roshan and seized MDMA.Roshan, 22, was arrested near Ghousia Mosque in Ghousianagar, and about 41.3 grams of MDMA valued at Rs 4 lakh was seized from him. He was remanded to judicial custody.Roshan is a known offender with NDPS cases being registered against him at Udayagiri police station in 2024.Police investigation revealed that he procured MDMA from an unknown person through photo-sharing social media in Bengaluru and sold it in Mysuru.Earlier, police arrested Mohammad Karim and Nishad Pasha and seized 3.1 grams of MDMA from them. Following a tip-off, Roshan too was arrested.Police commissioner Seema Latkar praised the efforts of Mandi inspector Divakar R and PSI Raju in the investigation.
