As enterprises accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence and digital workflows, security leaders are increasingly being called upon to look beyond conventional cybersecurity threats and address vulnerabilities emerging at the intersection of AI, identity governance and contract processes.

The issue will be the focus of an upcoming ETLegalWorld and ETCISO webinar, in collaboration with Zoho Sign, titled “The CISO’s Blind Spot: AI, Identity and the Gaps in Your Contract Workflows”, scheduled for August 20.

The session will bring together cybersecurity, legal and technology leaders to examine how weaknesses in identity frameworks and digital contract workflows can expose organisations to security, compliance and operational risks.

As AI-driven systems introduce new layers of automation, access and decision-making, traditional approaches to identity and access management may not adequately address the risks associated with increasingly automated enterprise processes.

The webinar will examine the impact of AI-driven automation on identity and access management, hidden security risks in digital contract workflows and governance gaps involving employees, systems and third parties.

A key focus will also be the legal and compliance exposure arising from insecure contract processes, particularly as contracts increasingly move through digital platforms and AI-enabled workflows.

The discussion will look at how CISOs, legal teams and IT functions can establish clearer ownership of these risks while securing AI-enabled workflows without compromising business agility.

Chandramouli Dorai, Chief Evangelist, Cyber Solutions and Digital Signatures, Zoho Corporation; Yogesh Kulkarni, General Manager, Regional CISO – Intellectual Property and Head of Cyber Security Resilience, Wipro; Dr Uttam Kumar, Chief Information Security Officer, Tata Digital; Ravi Kanth Chava, IS/IT Security and Compliance Lead, Nestlé; Goutam P., Chief Information Security Officer, Page Industries; and Sandeep Jamdagni, Head of Information Technology and Security, Central Park.

The discussion comes as organisations increasingly seek to embed security and compliance controls into digital business processes rather than treating them as separate functions. This is particularly relevant for contract workflows, where identity verification, access permissions, approvals, signatures and audit trails can have direct security and legal implications.

The session will also explore best practices for developing a security-first, AI-ready contract ecosystem and strengthening collaboration between security, legal, compliance and technology teams.

The webinar is part of the broader Legal Security Counsel series focused on the convergence of cybersecurity, legal operations, identity and digital trust.
