Vadodara: Around 80 participants came together in the early hours of Tuesday to celebrate Earth Day in a unique and meditative way, through the yogic practice of ‘Prithvi Namaskar’ performed at a sculpture park. Held during the serene Brahma Muhurta, the session blended movement, breath and intention to honour the Earth, with participants forming its symbolic shape and practising barefoot on grass as a gesture of deep connection with nature.The session brought together participants both physically present and joining online from across India and abroad. The session was conducted between 5am and 6:20am, with participants completing 50 rounds of the practice in nearly 80 minutes.The initiative focused on environmental consciousness and mindful living. It was organised by S N Foundation, led by founder Praveen Maripelly, who is known for performing 108 Surya Namaskars. Participants had undergone a 10-day preparatory workshop that trained them in synchronising breath, sound and movement, along with elements of fascia science aimed at enhancing body awareness.
