Vadodara: The Special Operations Group (SOG), in coordination with officials from the food and drugs department, raided a medical store on RV Desai Road after receiving inputs about illegal sale of medicines.Police said a dummy customer was sent to Pratapnagar Medical Store, where cough syrup was sold without a valid prescription. Following this, the team conducted a raid on the premises.During inspection, officials found that the store was not maintaining proper records of medicine sales, as mandated.Authorities said further action against the store owner will be initiated by the food and drugs department.
